When I first visited the new Mission Center, I was so impressed with the bright clean walls and spacious offices.  It is all so different from the office and store on Lackey Avenue.  As I wandered through the building, I came to a room which was very different from the rest.  Its is called “Holy Family Chapel” and is a lovely peaceful space, complete with stained glass window.  Stained glass windowIts a place where harried workers can find solace during a trying day, a space where volunteers can pray for someone they’ve met at the thrift store who is going through a particularly trying time.  In short, its just what the Mission Center needs, a place of prayer, to remind us that we are about God’s work, all is in His hands, not ours.  Thank you, Father, for making a chapel part of the new Mission Center!
