Every year we make a great effort at our mission center to honor Christ on his birthday by giving gifts of food and toys to households in 3 states. Last year we personally cared for 800 families; 400 in Lawrence County and 400 in Martin County.
In addition, we serve about 125 different churches and charities. Last year we brought food, toys, and household items to 13,000 families. Our requests for this year are at 15,000 families.
In addition, we are working with a Protestant group, out of Wooster, Ohio who will come down and have Christmas parties for 200 children in 5 counties.
Pray that we have the strength to meet all these challenges.
The Need Is Great
Please help us to make this Christmas special; we need food and toys in particular. We will have two distributions. The greatest amount we give out is on Saturday, December 12th. The other distribution for 800 families will be the week of Christmas.
We need meat of all kinds, groceries of very description, frozen food, and fresh vegetables are very much appreciated.
We do so much good at Christmas. Beyond physical donations, we bring a great deal of answers to the spiritual needs as well. I need your help so much.

I told you in my last letter about the man’s wife who had the premature baby. They are now at home in the shack. I have taken them another kerosene heater, the only heat they have. I have also brought them carpeting for the wooden floor, couches, chairs, baby clothes, and food.
I am working on getting them water. Their supply had been an old well. Thieves had cut all the wires to the pump. The pump is stuck in the well. I am trying to get some equipment to pull out the pump. We will get them a new one and install it.
We are also working on his SSI that he lost. We hope to get it resolved in November. He also needs a car to get groceries, medicine, and to work if he can get a car.
Please help us in this case.
The Mission Center has produced a DVD which features Father Beiting and some of the families who have received assistance. We’d like to send you one, just send us an email or give us a call. Once you receive it, we encourage you to show it to your family, friends and other groups — all are welcome to become partners in our ministry of service!
